An anime convention in Israel on Purim...
that sounds like a dream come true.
Your costumes are fantastic, by the way. I hope you had the best time ever! :)

For vines, I suggest taking fake vines from stores like Hobby lobby and stripping them down and spirit gumming them to your legs =3

This looks interesting. The colors are so plain but striking at the same time. The green COULD have been more even from head to toe, but it's not an eye sore. Perhaps just try another method(if you painted, try soaking in a bath of dye or stockings. I'd say stockings for the v(e)ined legs for sure, with arm stockings if you like the legs stockings alot. Talcum powder like Lou Ferrigno(better Talcum powder if that's what this is.)

When I do bodypaint, I use paint from sillyfarm.com. I have an airbrush, but their cake paints are good too.

:jawdrop: You guys look amazing!! Seriously top-notch cosplays, you should be proud. :D As for the vines, I agree with reverendshaggy: try using latex attached with spirit gum. Paint it over with something safe for skin. :) And attach the leaves with spirit gum as well.

It looks very good honestly as far as your application of the green goes.
An Idea for the vines, if you wanna get really into it, is to make some slightly raised prosthetics using fake skin or something similar and have them flow along your natural vein lines and protruding towards the ends to give that 3D effect. Or you could just have a very good body painter do it all :P very nicely done though

Well, for paint, I would suggest Ben Nye, as their paints are fantastic! Also, a good fixedent, such as the Ben Nye brand (Or hairspray from what I've heard.) will keep the paint on you, and not all over your clothes. As for vines, you can get ivy vines from craft stores such as Hobby Lobby, Michael's, or Dick Blick, depending on what's around you. However, I'd personally just paint them on, then use some spirit gum/glue to glue leaves on randomly, to keep them from falling off.

Other than that, your wig is GORGEOUS, and you're a lot braver than me! XD

Really?! Wow, its gorgeous!
You're very welcome! Here's the ordering pages for them online. I know they ship EVERYWHERE, so you should be okay! [link] I've also heard that Snazaroo does really well, if I'm correct on the company name. You should be able to find them all online.

I thought this was artwork! Just stunning!
And I hear that using puffy paint from craft stores are good for drawing on vines ; )
Good luck!

You could get the plastic vines they sell at most craft stores, then all you'd have to do is find a way to attach them to yourself :)
